This tried-and-true treat is a quick, easy way to wow your friends and family without putting in a lot of effort or time #WINING
To start, get the biggest (microwave safe) bowl you can find.
Add one stick of butter and one bag of mini marshmallows.
Microwave for 30 seconds, stir, and then microwave for another 30 seconds. The marshmallows will puff up and melt slightly but not all the way until you stir them, so repeat the microwave-and-stir-every-30-seconds process until they are smooth. Be careful not to over-nuke your marshmallows.
Then add one box of Fruity Pebbles and stir.
I like to add a little at a time because it’s easier and less messy.
Once combined, transfer the mixture to a 9 x 13 in. pan with wet hands. I found that when my hands are wet, the sticky mixture is easier to work with. Press the mixture down firmly to ensure they are compact and evenly distributed in the pan.
Chill in the fridge for a minimum of 1 hour.
Using a sharp knife, cut into the desired shape. Squares are the most traditional but cookie cutters can be used to make cute shapes.
Tip: spraying the knife and/or cookie cutter helps make the cutting process much easier!
I melted Dolci Fruti Creamy White Shell and spread it evenly on top of the rice crispies before cutting and then sprinkled each square with a few extra Fruity Pebbles to make them extra special, but they’re also fantastic on their own.
